Half Cents
Cents
1909 Indian Head Cent PCGS MS-64 Red $150
Great example of this last year of mintage for the Indian Head cent series. At first glance the coin looks better than a MS-64, but upon closer inspection, a couple of tiny flecks can be seen, including one under the "ER" on the headband, and a slight hit that runs across the headband by "Y". The coin has really nice luster, a smooth cheek, and super clean surfaces on the reverse. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer example of this date, at a better price.

Nickels
1883 Liberty Head Nickel WC NGC MS-62 $225
This is the tougher "with cents" variety, housed in an old NGC fatty holder. The coin's obverse has beautiful mark free surface, with full obverse stars. The reverse exhibits a good strike and with the exception of a very light diagonal scratch, which is not visible with the naked eye, is free of any notable marks or abrasions. The coin has a wonderful light gold tone, and has the look of an MS-63, Liberty Head nickel.
1899 Liberty Head Nickel PCGS MS-63 $150
What can I say, for the grade, this coin has it all. The coin exhibits beautiful rim toning, fantastic luster, with a full strike, and minimal marks. At first glance, the coin has the look of an MS-64, or better, Liberty Head nickel. Just a great coin!
Half Dimes
1837 NS SD Seated Half Dime NGC XF-45 $250
The coin has an attractive light, silvery gray color, that is lightly toned throughout. There's an interesting die break by Liberty's foot. A very nice addition to a type set.
Dimes
1913-S Barber Dime PCGS VF-25 $235
Because of it's low mintage, this date is always in demand and often hoarded. This is a decent example of this date, with marks and abrasions that are typical for a VF graded Barber dime. In my opinion, the obverse surfaces look more original than the reverse surfaces.
Twenty Cent Pieces
Quarters
1853 Arrows and Rays Seated Qtr NGC AU-55 $425
Subdued luster can be seen on the obverse, under a light peripheral toning. The reverse luster is more pronounced than the obverse. Except for a couple of very light marks on the obverse, the coin is free from any notable hits. This coin would make a nice addition to a type set.
1892 Barber Quarter PCGS AU-55 $150
If you like your Barber's original, this first year type coin will be a wonderful addition to your collection. The toning is on the darker side, but the coin exhibits a good strike, with nice underlying luster. There's a couple of light tics on the obverse, while the reverse is free of any notable marks.
1892 Barber Quarter PCGS AU-58 $195
Super example of this first year of issue Barber quarter. The coin has a strong strike, super luster, and russet toning around the peripheries, which adds to the overall eye appeal of this coin. This type 1 example, has a clean reverse, free of any notable marks or abrasions, while the obverse has a couple of hits, including a couple of scratches by stars 9-13.
1904-O Barber Quarter ANACS XF-40 $275
Nice, original example of this very tough date Barber quarter. Under medium gray toning, very light luster can be seen around the peripheries. Marks and abrasions are typical for an XF graded Barber quarter.
1904-O Barber Quarter PCGS XF-45 $385
With a BCCS (Barber Coin Collector's Society) Rarity Rating of R4, this is one of those tougher date's to try to locate in the XF/AU grades. This is a nice, original example, with some luster evident around the coin's peripheries. Weakness in strike, typical for this date, can be seen on the eagle's right wing. Marks and abrasions on the coin are consistent with the grade.
1905-O Barber Quarter PCGS XF-45 $395
According to my April, 2008, PCGS Population Report, this is a pop 1 coin in XF-45 and a pop 1 coin in XF-40 too. So if you're looking for an XF example of this date, in a PCGS holder, you're kind of limited. This is an original example, with light luster present under somewhat mottled toning. The only mark's of note on the coin is a slight hairline by Miss Liberty's jaw line and a toned area, present in the field, in front of Liberty's forehead. The fields, on the reverse of the coin, are covered with beautiful teal colored toning. This date has a R4 BCCS Rarity Rating in XF.
Half Dollars
1825 O-114 Capped Bust Half PCGS AU-58 $850
This golden toned beauty exudes originality. The coin has a very strong strike, and highly lustrous fields. The reverse is mark free, while a couple of very light marks on Liberty's cheek, are noted for accuracy.
1858-O Seated Half NGC MS-60 $600
Almost 100% white, with very light gold toning scattered about. The coin diplays a strong strike, with nice cartwheel luster. Some wispy hairlines in the fields limit the grade, but there are no notable marks or distractions. The coin is PQ for the grade.
1861 Seated Half NGC AU-58 $400
The obverse exhibits light, rose colored toning, with blue hues around the periphery, over satiny surfaces. The reverse is lighter in color, with pretty gold rim toning.
1872-S Seated Half NGC AU-58 $850
A very attractive coin and a scarce date in this level of preservation. The coin has white, lustrous surfaces, and displays a very nice strike. The obverse has a couple of tiny hits, while the reverse has a hit in the field below the eagle's head. Also of note, a small toning spot on Libery's left arm, and an even small toning spot on the "T" in STATES, on the reverse.
1901-S Barber Half PCGS F-15 $355
Super original example, of this very popular, key date, Barber half. The coin looks very solid for the grade, with the looks more in line with a VF example of this date. The coin has a wonderful two tone look to it, which is always popular with serious Barber collector's. Marks on the coin are consistent for the grade. This date has a BCCS Rarity Rating of R4. The new owner is going to love this coin!
1905-o Barber Half PCGS F-12 $195
A very scarce date that's on many want lists, especially in the circulated grades. This is a solid F-12 example, with an original look to it, with marks and abrasions that are typical at this grade level. One mark of note, a hit is visible in the field in front of Miss Liberty's nose. This date has a BCCS Rarity Rating of R4.
1912-S Barber Half PCGS VF-25 $165
A very nice original, medium toned, example of this date. The only mark of note is a slight hit in the field in front of Miss Liberty's nose.
1912-S Barber Half PCGS VF-25 $165
There's a beautiful antique, two toned, look to this coin. A couple of tiny hits are noted on the obverse, while the reverse is free of any marks. This coin would make a super addition to a nice VF Barber half set.
1916-D Walking Liberty Half PCGS MS-62 $425
Popular, early date, Walking Liberty half dollar. The coin exhibits satiny luster, with light gold toning, covering mostly mark free, original surfaces. A small tic on Miss Liberty, and another small tic on the eagle's wing are noted for accuracy. Weakness of strike, typical for this date, is visible on the obverse, central devices.
Dollars
1842 Seated Dollar PCGS XF-40 $695
This is one coin that I couldn't come close to imaging properly, in other words, the coin looks much nicer in hand. The coin has nicely toned grey surfaces, with a strike consistent for an XF-40 example of this date. The obverse is free of any notable marks, while the reverse exhibits a couple of small hits, in the field, above the eagle's head. Light teal toning is present in the fields, more so on the reverse of the coin, than on the obverse. This coin would make a wonderful addition to a type set.
